Over the past two weeks we have looked at how to know our identity in Christ Jesus. To live a life in Perfect Peace, we need to unequivocally stand firm, knowing exactly who we are as Chosen, Redeemed, Blessed, Beloved, Children of God. Having accepted the adoption, Jesus Christ purchased for us on Calvary; we need to learn to live as who we are. I have laid out seven steps to help you transform that head knowledge into heart knowledge, looking in detail to each step.
However no fear, God will inscribe my heart and yours with His truth. This, I believe is the most important step to remember. God will accomplish all that He has planned in my life; because, it has never been about me. It has always been about Him. Therefore, He, the great I AM, will fill my heart with Him: His Joy, His Hope and His Glory forevermore.
REST ASSURED, GOD WILL INSCRIBE MY HEART WITH HIS TRUTH
And last; but, certainly not least. God has promised to write His precepts on your heart.
Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more (Hebrews 10:15-17).
Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? (John 11:40).
God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe (Ephesians 1:17-19)
It may be through fiery trials, He reveals Himself. Or it may be through tiny glimpses of His Glory. We need to remain always open to seeing Him in every detail of our lives. Either way, He will complete the work He began in us; one day.
God has promised: He will inscribe my heart with the truth of His Glory, His Love; thereby sealing my heart in His Joy, Hope and Peace
