Faith:
Forsaking All I Trust Him. Because I know He IS Sovereign, Omnipotent, Holy, Almighty God. He is Glorious, Just, Righteous; yet, loved me so that He paid the penalty for my sin that I might by Grace come into His presence. When I understand that and that He loves me perfectly, then I can forsake everything else and Trust Him. No matter what I know He is working all things together for my good.

Forsaking All, I trust Him
The One who holds my heart
Even when this life so grim
Desires my peace depart
It is His Faithfulness and Grace
That holds me steady in my place
This world with all its sorrow pain
Brought forth by man’s own sin
The wretched darkness of its stain
Brings emptiness within
Lonely caverns bind the heart
With chains that ne’er depart
Until the light of truth shines in
To break those chains that bind
And all we thought had ever been
Is gone that we might find
He is the only treasure true
As His Glory comes in view
And so all else I cast aside
To rest within His Arms
So, safe secure in Him abide
Far from this world of harms
He, who loves me perfectly
Doth shower me with glee
Forsaking All I Trust Him
Where’er He bid me go
All fears and sorrows growing dim
My heart is set aglow
By Him the One who loved me so
He never, ever lets me go
And so all else I cast aside
To rest within His Arms
So, safe secure in Him abide
Far from this world of harms
He, who loves me perfectly
Doth shower me with glee
