I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; That in everything ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. Do you know Him? Have you ever come to know Jesus Christ as your Savior and King? In Him, you are given Grace. Grace that covers your every sin by His cloak of righteousness. Grace that holds you blameless until the day you stand before Him; that wraps you in His love, Showers you in His joy. Grace that guides every step of your journey as He fills you with His knowledge. He enriches each moment of your life. Everything based upon His faithfulness, His strength, and His love. Thank God for salvation’s song which is based upon the price paid upon that cross. From the moment I first accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior, He never let go of me.
There were times that I chased after foolish dreams hoping to find greater joy. There were times that I would run ahead of God’s plan; thinking I could please Him more by working faster or harder. There never was a moment that He didn’t just sigh at my foolishness. Then when I had exhausted myself of trying or fell face forward into the mud; it was His hand of love that lifted me out of the muddy mire, bathed me with His tears, and reminded me that He loved me. When I would despair of my own failures along this journey, He was there. As I cried because I realized how many times I broke His heart, He would look down and say, “Child, come. I don’t see any sin, take my hand, we have work to do together.” He saw no sin because He always looks upon me through the precious blood of His son.
True, there is nothing I can do to earn a dearer place with Him; yet, because of that, I want to be His obedient child. I want to seek Him each morning. I want Him to guide my steps; because I love Him more than anything else this earth can offer.
So, I ask you again. Do you know Him?
